Communicators
This page provides some simple resources for you when preparing a talk at Hopeland Church.
REMEMBER THE FLOW FOR ALL TALKS
1. The problem as it relates to me
Always start with a story! Keep it relatable - saying "When I was in China a few months ago" isn't relatable. Saying "We all face challenges when we travel" THEN saying "so when I visited China a few months ago, it was no different" IS relatable.
2. The problem as it relates to us
How does this problem relate to your audience? This is where you can begin with several "maybe you" qualifiers that widens the connection point.
3. The problem as it relates to God
4. What do I do about the problem
